The Ancient Greek said "We are what we eat". Of course, we could be like our ancestors who were seeking for food somewhere in the lake forests and liked boiled fish more than rich dish, but today there are more civilized ways to find out the most affordable vegetarian food.

Since 1842, when the word “vegetarian” was used for the first time, it transformed, and most people used to understand vegetarian nutrition as a synonym to vegetable diet. However, the word "vegetarian" refers to "sound, healthy, fresh, stimulating".

Becoming vegetarian, people choose one of the available paths. The matter is that in the vegetarian practice there are some tendencies which are considered the independent nutrition systems. The strict vegetarians deny eating all the organic products. Some vegans do not eat even honey. Green vegetarian means eating only uncooked meal. Those people who accept drinking milk are called the lacto vegetarians. Milk and eggs are included into some vegetarian diets, too.

The issue of vegetarian health is discussed all over the world. There are two tendencies which prove two controversial points of view. A few vegetarian nutrition specialists assure that the natural meal contains all the needed components which are vital for normal growing and developing. Another group of the scientists claim that a traditional strict vegan diet is rather harmful than sound due to vitamin B, vitamin D and some amino acids limitation in organism. In order to keep balance, they recommend adding flower pollen, honey, and cod - liver oil. They do not recommend limiting calcium containing products for the growing organism (i.e. until 18 years old).

One of the vegetarian diet goals is vegetarian weight loss. Such nutrition is also recommended to improve general tone. Actually, if the diet is chosen correctly, in some days you should feel that your mood is improving.

As a part of the weight loss programs, they recommend the physical exercises along with healthy nutrition. Another piece of advice is to arrange a fasting day once per week. When you keep a diet, it is better to drink a lot: tea or juices. Remember that coffee makes digestion slower.

Breakfast: fresh fruits salad with two spoons of yogurt and a glass of green tea without sugar.
